Supporting Our Clients with Next Generation Training Tools
We take our work, and your training seriously. That’s why we don’t just show up, we go the extra mile for you, each and every time we work together. Check out our training tools along with a description of when, how, and why we use them below.

Program Blueprint
How do you know what you are going to be doing in your next training session? Does your current trainer have this planned out for you? Or, do you just show up and go with what they (may or may not) have planned for the day? SHOULD you know?
At Summit Performance, we took all of these questions and set out to answer them, ensuring all of our clients know what’s coming, and when.
Enter Program Blueprints! intended as a written reference for each session in your training program so you know what to expect and when to expect it. Your blueprint contains:
- Your Goals
- Objective Information (strength, measurements, etc.) collected in your baseline assessment
- Training Methodology to get you closer to your goals
- Session Summaries
Our clients use their blueprint to help them see a “zoomed out” view of their program and when combined with their “Hotel Card” to prepare them for their upcoming session.

Session Timer
Our gym timer keeps us, and you on track each session. For us this means your work and rest times are precise, and kept as intended for you and your personal fitness
For you, it ensures your session finishes on time so you can get on with your day, and spend time with the people, places, & things that matter most to you.
We use our timer in all sessions for all of our clients, both in person, and for virtual sessions

Note Taking
We take notes on your health & performance inside and outside of your sessions. This means tracking reps, pace, heart rate, and other health metrics in each and every session.
This let’s us track your progress in particular sessions, and trends in your progress over time. These notes also allow us to use tangible historical data to help you with setting goals that are meaningful to you as you chase the “Summit” of your health & fitness mountains.
The difference between “a trainer” and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist at Summit is the excellence we hold ourselves to in every regard. Note taking and progress tracking is no exception. As a client we take you under our wing, and use the little details like note taking to show you we care.

VALD Performance Tracking
Baseline Testing is an essential component of holding us accountable to your improvement.
We leverage next generation tools that measure your strength and range of motion precisely in your baseline testing session, and in follow up re-tests and monitoring so we can give you evidence that you are improving with your training, not just believing you that you are.

Custom Exercise Program Card
Upon onboarding, we create & give you a personal training or rehab “hotel card”. Leveraging the next generation of blockchain technology, your “hotel card” is customized to YOU and your training or rehab plan.
Tap your hotel card for session overviews, Home Exercise Program details, demonstrations of exercise form, and cues unique to you.
New content is added to review each time we build a new program for you and when we update your rehab plan.
Our personal training clients especially value reviewing their “hotel card” in advance of a session so they are ready for the day’s session. Our clients tell us they especially value the hotel cards for the times they are traveling and need a quick refresher on particular cues/tips for their specific training program.
