Change your relationship with your Physiotherapist. Should you wait until you're injured? Is a better approach regular check ins, minimizing your chance of injury in the first place?
Athletes and high performance individuals know that this distinction can help set them apart in the boardroom or on the field of competition.
What’s Physiotherapy?
Canadian Physiotherapists are graduate level educated healthcare professionals who help their clients improve their physical ability & function. Physiotherapists work in hospitals assisting their clients with rehabilitation goals after changes in their health status (surgery, traumatic incident, etc.).
Physiotherapists also work in the community, helping everyone from weekend warriors to high performance athletes recover from sports injuries, stay injury and pain free, and to maintain and improve their physical ability throughout their life. This means whether you have just been injured or have long standing discomfort, seeing a Physiotherapist can be a great first step in getting you back on your feet, or becoming as strong and healthy as possible in pursuit of your health & fitness goals.
Physiotherapy is direct access in Ontario, meaning, you can see a physiotherapist without needing a doctor’s note in advance.
