Comparative Analysis: The Physiotherapy Landscape in Canada and Japan

We were invited to lead a lecture for a group of Japanese Physiotherapists to enhance their knowledge of the profession internationally!

We were kindly invited by Koryokai Hospital in Osaka Japan to lead a lecture comparing the healthcare landscape and clinical practice for outpatient and inpatient PTs in Canada and Japan. This session helped convey the importance of understanding the healthcare landscape for physiotherapists delivering care anywhere across the health continuum. This session also included a hands on demonstration of the components of an inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy assessment in Canada for the benefit of a group of orthopedic hospital PTs in Osaka, Japan in attendance. This lecture was conducted in English with the translation support of Mr. Hayato Nakanishi (PT)

Thank you to Mr. Hayato Nakanishi, and Koryokai Hospital for the invitation and we look forward to continued collaborative efforts into the future to benefit patients and the PT profession internationally!
